BMR Entertainment is the hottest new record label from Miami, FL. The Label was founded in 2001 by Chris Bruce along with influences his hometown Montego Bay, Jamaica and friends Monty $$ and Trek SS. Chris Bruce was well known for his poetry and acting skills on campus and while attending Miami Norland Senior High, he found interest in Monty $$ and Trek SS as they were in a group called 3 Deep. He soon became Manager of the group as they performed in shows around the school which included being an opening act for Slip N Slide Records artist Trina when she performed at their high school. In the Spring of 2006, BMR Entertainment released their first compilation called Street Business which featured Monty $$ as performer/producer on 12 of the 15 tracks and included Trek SS and a few local artists on the album. Chris Bruce, Monty $$ and Trek SS sold 4,000 ($10) units of the Street Business compilation on the streets in a span of 9 months without any radio play, and began to spread buzz about BMR Entertainment throughout South Florida. BMR Entertainment has recorded, mixed, produced and performed with a number of prominent producers and artists including Trina, P.O.D, Slip N Slide Records, platinum producer Bigg D, Dipset, J.T. Money, Pretty Ricky, Calvin Mills, DJ Big Boy (Big Boy Of The Puppies), Drew Money & Mike Millions aka Tree Town Productions, Thug Child, Most Wanted H.I.T.T.A.Z, Drew Smooth, Trek SS, Mizzle Boy, Jose "BEAT SMITH" Rodriguez, Matt Foley, DJ Raze (Switzerland) and The Genevan Heathen (Switzerland). BMR Entertainment artists Monty $$ & Trek SS has performed throughout Miami at numerous venues including platinum producer/rapper Lil Jon Mansion on South Beach, Sunset Island Mansion, Club Sobe, I.A.
